Import events (file or Url) from an external Calendar

You can migrate your events from your external Calendar using a file (ICS format) or using an Url (premium feature) in FamilyWall, please follow the following steps:

1 - First you need to get a file or the URL of your external Calendar (any ICS calendars). Most of common public calendars provide an iCS subscription URL (Look for a link or button that says Subscribe, iCal, or iCalendar) or an iCS file.

and Tip: If you only get the ICS URL of your calendar, you can transform that into a ICS file. Just copy paste this URL into a web browser and click on it, it should allow you to save the calendar into an iCS file in your computer.

2 - Once you have copied the ICS file containing your events in your computer, then go to our Web site :

- Go to www.familywall.com and log in with your Familywall email

- Go to the Calendar section on the left menu

- In the calendar section, go to the Calendars listed on the right

- Scroll down the calendar list and click on "Import event from ICS" in the "Add other Calendars" section

- add the previously copied file containing the external calendar events

Your events will be imported into the FamilyWall calendar.

Note: If you are not Premium only the 30 first events will be imported, you need to be Premium to get all your events.
